I haven't received a bill in 4 months. Every time I call in they give me a different excuse.

I was told there are about 400 customers who haven't gotten bills. First they said it was a tech issue then a billing issue then tech then billing. I'm told they don't know when I will get a bill, meanwhile I am racking up a giant bill overdue bill.

I call constantly, have emailed the CEO, head of consumer affairs even the president and no of them can get me a bill. I don't even know what to do at this point.

Rule 17.D States that Southern California Edison will only be able to charge you for the last three billing cycles... Do not let them send you a bill for the entire amount.. if it is for more than 3 months then you need to call them and tell them you will not pay more than the 3 months according to their Rule 17.D

man i havent received a bill all summer this summer 2021. last bill i paid was june.

No bill since august 2019. ( currently 1/30/20) Moreno Valley resident (92551) Iโ€™ve called several times and SCE has no clue.

My brother also has no received a bill since nov. 2018.

I filed a complaint with CPUC they had SCE adjust my bill. RULE 17 they canโ€™t bill you for more than 3 months

I live in Moreno Valley and havenโ€™t received a bill since April I called every month and logged in my online account almost everyday and still no bill, finally got one yesterday for $3,000 does anyone know what I can do about that?

IF YOU HAVE NOT RECIEVED A SCE BILL FOR OVER MONTHS AND MONTHS, IN MY CASE 7 MONTHS, UNDER THE LAW, SCE CAN ONLY BACK BILL YOU FOR 3 MONTHS, SO IN MY CASE FOR THE 7 MONTHS THEY DID NOT SEND ME A BILL, THEY CAN ONLY BILL ME FOR 3 MONTHS. HERE IS THE EXACT LAW: Depending on who you talk to at SCE if they call it a BILLING DELAY they can charge you for ALL monthsm if they call it a BILLING ERROR they can ONLy charge you for up to 3 months.

PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA a) Tariff Rule 17(D) SCEโ€™s re-billing was proper under Tariff Rule 17(D), even if SCEโ€™s actions caused the error. Indeed, Rule 17(D) provides, in part: โ€œA Billing Error is an error by SCE which results in incorrect billing charges to the customer. Billing Errors may include incorrect meter reads or clerical errors by an SCE representative . .

. Where SCE overcharges or undercharges a customer as the result of a Billing Error, SCE may render an adjusted bill for the amount of the undercharge . .

. not exceeding three months for residential service to a SCE-metered Single-Family Dwelling or Accommodation as defined in Rule 1, Definitions, and three years for all other service.โ€ (Emphasis added).

Yes this only appys for billing errors unlike mine i havent had one since june 2019 and is a billing delay once my bill is fixed i will receive the entire bill for all those months until then sce argues they cant fix my account until i prove i opted out of apple valley choice in which i cant. even though the company spoke with them on a three way with me i sucks for everyone

Type your message here We are in Whittier, Ca We have statements for 3 months that indicate that we have a ZERO balance. I called again this morning 12/3/2019 and have been on hold for 15 minutes because they are apparently busy at 8:30am.

I just spoke with a live person by the name of Phillip. He is aware of the problem with the system. He apparently make a note of my problem with the "delayed billing department and put in an order for a request that my account be put in the correction of this situation. He informed that this will take about 30-45 days.

They will accommodate me as far as making small payments until the actual amount owed Is paid off. If I have any questions or would like to see if something is resolved, he suggests that I call SCE in about 15-20 days and ask for billing.

Please please please file a complaint with cpuc. There is a complaint form on their web site. If enough complaints are filed maybe cpuc will do something about this

I am glad I saw this post. We have solar and have received multiple bills for over $100 the past few mo the and we wondered why since they are usually under $5. I am going to check into this!

I didn't get a bill for about 3 months and it didn't say I owed anything. Last month I got hit with a bill for over $500, then this month hit and it went up another $300.

I paid it and haven't called to ask questions yet because to be honest I've spent so much time dealing with different companies lately, I needed a break.

Now I see that many others have had this problem, I will be sure to contact them.. I knew something was up.

SCE is still billing me over $100 a month and now I have Clean Alliance on top of it??? Guess it's time to cut the cord and see if we can go solar.

I havenโ€™t received bill for 3 months. Problem in delayed billing for SCS is tied to the pact with Clean Power Alliance which is now producing power with SCE just distributing power.

We were not notified of this change and CPA cannot provide usage details therefore SCE can no longer provide usage details. You can opt out of CPA and go back to all SCE. This opt out is what started my not getting bill which shows delayed billing and no details and 0$. You can file a complaint with PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION that govern SCE.

They filed a Complaint with SCE and they are auditing my current and past bills for accuracy.

They are aware of the problem but SCE screwed up with a software update which caused a downward spiral that they now many accounts they have to fix individually. REALLY MESSED UP!

Same here in Eastvale!! We moved in in July and havenโ€™t received a bill yet.

Why I should have to call and beg to lay people is beyond me. Weirdest ish ever!!

But like others have said, Iโ€™ve just been sending money every month to hopefully cover the bill. We shall see!!

I to have not received a bill what I've done to avoid a high bill when it does come is look at your past usage and charges and pay a little more than that amount each month even if you overpay you won't be charged late fees when your bill comes to pay towards your bill Edison when find a place in your area like a liqueur store that allows you to pay using your sce account number and you can put how ever amount you want towards your bill it is frustrating but this is the best way to deal with it for now

I'm in Moreno Valley and my last bill was for Dec-Jan 2019 services. I've called a couple of times and have also been told that they will force generate a bill to me.

That was a couple of months ago now. Still nothing.
